Who Said Writing Backwards Was a Worthless Talent?

Does your boss have a window in his office?  Have a message you want to share with the company or department?  Grab a dry-erase marker and leave them a note:

  1. Go to the backside or the target window, this is likely the inside of the office with the window.
  2. Write your message backwards in the window, good messages include:

    • @ Dr.'s office having rash examined.
    • @ Job Interview
    • Sleeping, Do Not Disturb!
  3. Go to the opposite side of the window and check your work.
People will not think that the message was written backwards and will attempt to erase it from the front side of the glass.  They will then start to panic when they see the ink is not coming off.  To reduce the amount of errors you make, you might find it easier to write your message on a piece of paper and copy the text from the back side.  Writing backwards does take time to master so practice a bit to make this more convincing.

Some windows are treated with a plastic coating which dry erase markers will adhere to.  Check to ensure the marker is removable before leaving your mark.
