There's no better way to welcome back your coworkers from the holidays, vacation, or that long sales trip than with an office prank. There is no need for pranks to be relegated to April Fool's Day; any day of the year is good for a small joke. A prescription for safe office pranks if often perfect for some fun lighthearted fun and/or well deserved payback.

In this day and age, Technology and the Internet rule, and most people spend their time online browsing, emailing or shopping. Why not try and play a joke on your friends where they spend most of their time…their computers and offices.

Remember, any prank you can easily play on someone could just as easily be used against you as well.

Invisible Ink

Writing instruments are always a sore spot in every office.  Nobody can find one when they need one, except for that nasty pen that looks like someone has been chewing on for about a year.  Treat your co-workers to the joy of invisible ink by rendering all of their pens and pencils useless.
  • Either before your victim has arrived in the morning or while they are out to lunch, sneak into the victim’s office/cube and locate every pencil and pen in their desk. 
  • Paint the tips with clear nail polish making sure to return the

    writing instruments to their same position when you are done.

  • When they try to write something, none of their writing instruments will work. 
After the prank is revealed, the nail polish can be removed by dipping the pens and pencils in nail polish remover.
